Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these Tire Pressure Valve Extenders on our 2020 Forest River Georgetown GT 5. So these extensions are gonna have a 45 degree bend in them to kind of put them in a more favorable angle here, and they are designed for the front tire. So just keep that in mind when you're picking this out. They've got a couple that have more extreme bends for the rear tires. more

Hey guys, Kevin here at etrailer and today will be showing you how to install the Curt Sway control kit here on our 2011 Forest River R-Pod Travel Trailer. If you have a vehicle or a trailer hitch that is not rated for use with weight distribution hitches then your options for sway control can get pretty limited. The big one being electronic sway control which is going to hook into your vehicle's 7-way and then also it's going to wire back to your brakes so that it can activate the brakes independently. That way it will kind of eat up that sway and make it nice and stable for you while you're going down the highway. Or the more cheaper option for it, that's a little bit more cost effective is going to be going with a friction sway control bar like we have here today with our Curt. Friction sway control bar is basically gonna be two pieces. more

These jacks are gonna be two inches shorter to help you deal with ground clearance issues. And this is what our short jacks look like when they're installed and operating. You can see it's contacted the ground. It works just like our other jacks. more

Seaflo Boats and RV Battery Selector Switch Review- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today we'll be showing you how to install the Seaflo Battery Disconnect Switch here on our 2018 Forest River Gray Wolf travel trailer. If you find every now and then when you go to pick your trailer up out of the storage lot that your battery's been completely drained because your jack, or maybe in your lights or something else we're left on and just kind of drain the battery and then you can't operate your jack to lift it up and actually hook up to your tow vehicle. A battery disconnect switch like this one is gonna be the right solution for you. This selector switch is going to allow you to not only pull from one battery, but also a second battery in parallel without having to actually wire it in parallel. Cause it's going to accept power wires from each of those batteries and put it in parallel before sending it out to your trailer. As far as installation goes, the hardest part is really just getting that base kind of set up just because the four mounting spots are pretty tight inside of here. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer. And today, I'll gonna be showing you how to install the Solera manual-to-powered replacement heads, for your Solera awnings, here on our 2017 Forest River Work and Play Toy Hauler travel trailer. So, if you're like me and you're tired of having to manually crank out your awning every single time or push it back in using the crank, a lot of the times, when you're doing that, you gotta kinda hold the pole a weird way just to kinda keep it level with the head, then the replacement manual-to-powered drive head is going to be the thing for you. This is going to easily allow you to extend or retract your awning in just a matter of seconds. One of the features that I'd like to point out is, say you have a dead battery and you switched over to your powered drive head and you're worried that, oh, I'm not gonna be able to retract or extend my awning, all you have to do is pop off the rubber grommet, like we've already done right here, which could easily just be done by hand, and inside, there's a little nut that you can just put your socket wrench on and easily crank out or retract in your awning. So, your new drive heads are gonna come in two different colors, either black or white, depending on what aesthetics that you want. more

Solera Replacement Awning Fabric Installation - 2017 Forest River Work and Play TT Toy Hauler- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here with Etrailer and today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Solera replacement awning fabric here on our 2017 Forest River Work and Play Toy Hauler Travel Trailer. Typically, whenever we have a neighbor coming in saying that they need a new awning fabric, it's because theirs is just so worn. Maybe it's got some tears in it, or it's just so faded it doesn't really provide the same aesthetic that it once used to. With our neighbor today, his need was just because he was already going to replace his arm heads for his awning, with new powered drive heads instead of the old manual crank ones. So he just wanted to go ahead and update the look and switch from his old dark black awning up to a little bit brighter of a gray color. So the Solera replacement awning fabric is made of a heavy duty vinyl that's gonna provide you with a long lifetime of use. more

Kevin Hey, guys. Kevin here at etrailer. And today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the SEAFLO battery disconnect for boats and RVs here on our 2018 Forest River Wildwood Xlite travel trailer. So, our neighbor came to us today, saying that he's having issues with his battery being drained whenever he lets his camper sit when it's in storage. So, one of the quickest and easiest ways to solve this issue is to place a battery disconnect switch in between your battery and your trailer. So, the SEAFLO battery disconnect switch has two ways of mounting, one with the actual base, which we used here, which you'll typically see on your travel trailers. more

Hey guys, Kevin here with Etrailer. And today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Voyager PWM filter here on our 2018 Forest River Grey Wolf travel trailer. If you purchased a 2021 or a 2022 and on GM or Chevy truck, you've noticed that your Furrion or your Voyager camera no longer works. This is because the pulse wave modulation that sends your power from your seven way back to your camera no longer sends the same amount of voltage which ends up losing your signal. You can't ever connect for whatever reason. GM just decided to change their wiring so camera companies had to make up a solution to fix that for the 2022, 2020 vehicles. more

The camera will slip right into the assembly that's located here. This trailer here has the prep package already on it. So it already has the mount located there, and there was actually already a camera installed on it. The camera that's on here though since it's a bit older of a trailer, it's met its end. more

Rob: Hey everybody. It's Rob here at etrailer.com. And today we'll be taking a look at the Solera flat arm replacement support arm on our 2017 Forest River FR3 motorhome. Now you want to make sure you get the correct replacement part for your awning. So the way you're going to measure to make sure you have the correct arm is you're going to measure from the very top of the extrusion where the fabric goes into the motorhome. You're going to measure from that point all the way down to the bottom mounting point, where they are mounts into the wall. more

And I want to walk you through how to install the Lippert Components SolidStep Lift Assist.Now, if you're not familiar with the SolidStep, I'm going to highly recommend these. When you compare them to like your old ones that you have to fold out from underneath the vehicle or underneath the camper, the metal ones, they tend to rust. They don't really hold up as well. These make it very easy. more

Solera Slide Toppers Replacement Fabric Installation - 2009 Forest River Sunseeker- Video
Today on our 2009 Forest River Sunseeker we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Replacement Slide Topper Fabric for the Solera Slide Toppers that are six and a half feet long in 00:00:12 the color white. Part number LCV000253381. Here's what our new awning fabric is going to look like once it's installed on the camper. This is what it'll look like once you retract your slide out in and the awning's rolled up. As you can see, this white awning fabric is going to fit directly into the existing tracks that are on the awning already on here. This fabric is going to be a direct replacement for your six and a half foot long Solera Slide Topper Awnings. If the fabric from your awning has gotten damaged from storms or trees, or just use over the years this is going to be a good replacement to help make sure that the top of your slide out stays clean and protected. more
